Ad of the Day: Ford’s creepy horror movie marks launch of ‘scary fast’ truck
Taking inspiration from classic horror movies, Ford’s latest commercial has shown the ‘scary speed’ of the F-150 Raptor R pickup truck.
Directed by renowned filmmaker Lauren Sick, ‘Scary Fast’ was set in the dead of night in the middle of a vast desert. Racing through the dusty terrain, the driver frantically tries to swerve various creatures that are lurking in the shadows.
Throughout the two-minute ad, many horror movie norms are interjected as the creepy music ramps up, ending with blood-red credits reminiscent of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead franchise.
