The filmmaking process is my way of meditating and reflecting on the world around me. In 2002, I started my career in Times Square where I was dazzled by how television producers used the soft power of entertainment to seduce their audiences. Soon technology allowed me to write, shoot, and edit my movies independently.
I make biographical, educational, and promotional movies about the people and ideas that I encounter in real life. Cultural environment is my muse. However, even the most objective filmmakers cannot help but to view their subjects with a biased lens. My fingerprints undoubtedly mark my movies and, in that regard, I’m not only a documentarian, but also a storyteller.
