4. Spam brings us some ‘figgy’ pudding
This holiday season, Spam is bringing back a forgotten Christmas flavor: Spam Figgy Pudding. To create buzz around the limited-edition product, BBDO Minneapolis created an animated short film that riffs on the classic animated Christmas movies made by Rankin/Bass. In the film Santa, reindeer, elves, Tiny Tim, a yeti and a holiday hog explain what figgy pudding is in song.
The seasonal variety is available at Spam.com, Amazon and Walmart while supplies last.

3. Stella Artois releases limited-edition ‘We’re Not Really Strangers’ bottles
Stella Artois is bringing more conversation to the table this holiday season with a new collaboration with the popular card game We’re Not Really Strangers.
The limited-edition bottles boast peel-off labels that reveal thought-provoking questions from the game – such as “What’s a feeling you wish you could feel again?” and “What role has luck played in your life?” – to encourage meaningful connections between loved ones. Fans can get their hands on them in New York City, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Detroit and additional cities across the Northeast.

2. Ryan Reynolds and Jane Seymour unveil Aviation Gin’s Open Bottle Collection
Creative agency Maximum Effort, partly owned by Ryan Reynolds, ideated a holiday campaign that spoofs Jane Seymour’s notorious ’Open Hearts’ jewelry commercials, This time, the former Bond girl shows off an ’Open Bottle Collection’ for Aviation American Gin, also co-owned by Reynolds.
The hilarious spot made our US Ad of the Day yesterday.

1. Allstate creates holiday mocktails for a safe drive home
Allstate is making sure all guests are in good hands this holiday season. To combat drinking and driving, the insurance company commissioned celebrity chef Jordan Andino to create a ’Good sips’ mocktail menu.
This season, try a ’Safetini,’ a nonalcoholic take on a classic martini, by blending blue curacao syrup, soda water, lime juice and fresh mint, topped with cranberries. Or conversely, indulge in the ’Sober Sage,’ a festive, gin-inspired mocktail that requires mixing cranberry juice, sage simple syrup and soda water, with sage leaves as garnish.
