Ads of the Week: Nike celebrates 50th birthday and Katy Perry records Just Eat jingle

Nike’s birthday campaign was directed by Spike Lee

This week, Nike resurrected Spike Lee’s Mars Blackmon character in its 50th anniversary celebratory film, Katy Perry took the Just Eat reigns from Snoop Dogg with her catchy rendition of the delivery app’s famous jingle and Guinness got stout-lovers excited for summer.

Nike: 50th Anniversary by Spike Lee

To celebrate its 50th birthday, sportswear giant Nike enlisted Spike Lee to direct and star alongside Indigo Hubbard-Salk in its latest ad, which asked viewers: ‘Think you’ve seen it all?’

Guinness: Looks Like Guinness by AMV BBDO

With its foamy white head and dark Irish stout body, Guinness is perhaps the world’s most recognizable pint. Playing on this, the brewery revealed an out-of-home (OOH) campaign that featured the iconic black beverage in classic summer scenes.
