Singapore to host The Drum's APAC Trends Briefing in April

Sponsored by Criteo and Media.Monks, The Drum’s APAC Trends Briefing will give marketers in the region the perfect excuse to gather together to share thoughts, ideas and insights on many of the most important issues facing brands, agencies and tech developers in the diverse and dynamic APAC region.

Last year’s inaugural APAC Trends Briefing event garnered hugely positive feedback and has encouraged brands such as Unilever, Citibank, Johnson & Johnson, Procter & Gamble, Food Panda and agencies such as Ogilvy, Accenture, Octagon and Criteo to sign up to share their insights on what 2024 holds.

The day’s kick-off keynote speaker is Aseem Puri, CEO at Unilever International, who will offer insights into the consumer trends driving the region, while his talk will also delve into leadership and productivity. Offering insights into how data will power the direction of advertising in the years ahead will be entrepreneur and president of TiEs Singapore, Prantik Mazumdar; DBS Bank executive director of marketing Krishna Kota; director of platforms at Accenture, Lisa Collins; senior director of advertising and food partnerships at Foodpanda, Kiranjeet Singh Purba; and chief data and tech officer at Ogilvy, Ab Gaur.

Speaking of the event, Gordon Young, co-founder and editor-in-chief at The Drum, said: “My recent business trips to Mumbai and Singapore again drove home just how exciting and dynamic these cities – and APAC as a major region – are and The Drum is looking forward to exploring some of the key issues, challenges and opportunities that the region is facing.

Our recent interview with Colgate’s APAC head of marketing, Gunjit Jain, highlighted some of the unique challenges the region faces but also highlighted the opportunities that exist to deliver some world-changing marketing and communications campaigns. It will be inspiring to hear what major brands such as Unilever, Citibank, P&G and Johnson & Johnson have to say about what trends are shaping marketing across the region.”

The APAC Trends Briefing takes place at the offices of Media.Monks in Singapore on Wednesday, April 24, from 8.30am onwards.
